DJ WILDHONEY grew up as a teenager in the 80's with New-Wave, EBM and Punk music.

Later on he broadened his musical spectrum with influences of Metal (Trash, Hardcore, Doom, Death, Black, Grunge, ...), Alternative Rock, Crossover, New-Beat, Acid, Techno, etc.

In 1993 he started organising alternative parties in his neighbourhood and later on he was asked as guest-DJ on parties and festivals in Belgium (Waregem, Brussel, Leuven, Gent, Hasselt, Aarschot, ...) and abroad (Moscow, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Oberhausen, Eindhoven, ...).

In 1994 he launched his Electro/Industrial solo project Responsa Trepida (latin for "nervous answers").

Since 2007 DJ WILDHONEY takes pictures and reviews cd's for the Belgian Side-Line Magazine and interviewed many well-known bands in the alternative scene like DIE KRUPPS, Ministry, Front 242, The Sisters Of Mercy, KMFDM, OOMPH!, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Leaether Strip, Gary Numan, Die Form, :Wumpscut:, The Neon Judgement, Hanzel und Gretyl, Pouppée Fabrikk, Cat Rapes Dog, Haujobb, Monolith, Vomito Negro, Vive La Fête, Diorama, Gothminister, The Horrorist, Tying Tiffany, ...

Before that he was active for the Belgian MindView Magazine as cd-reviewer and interviewed bands like OOMPH!, And One, Lacrimosa and Love Like Blood.

In 2009 he became guest-musician (percussion and backing vocals) in RevCo World, with townmate Luc Van Acker (Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Arbeid Adelt!, ...). With RevCo World he shared the stage with bands as D.A.F., KMFDM, Killing Joke, Vive La Fête, Anne Clark, ...

From 2011-2013 he was part of the German Industrial band minusheart and in 2012 he was resident DJ in New Water Club in Aachen (DE). Since 2013 he is co-producer of the weekly mixcloud-podcast switchbLack.

Being a friend of the German Industrial-Metal band OOMPH! since the very beginning (1993), he is currently active as their Webmaster/Social Media Manager. In 2013 he also became Webmaster/Social Media Manager of DIE KRUPPS.

Besides DJ'ing he also takes pictures at concerts and festivals for his project dark.edge photography.
